East Coast Representation

So, although we back East certainly envy the altitude and terrain out there you "Westies"...this season has been sick so far for KTown. Three days in so far and a total of 40" accumulated throughout those priceless pre-winter days. Although not much photography to illustrate...here are two pics to begin our representation on Blower Powder.

What the hell is that on his face???

Dec 14-16. If You Only Knew...

Only a few do Know! Keep it that way!

Looking out the Highway to Heaven gates at Wolverine Cirque and Twin Lakes Pass. This season this will be our backcountry home!

A week after a storm Frankie is still getting sick powder turns accessed by chairlifts under Evergreen.

Yours truly tele-skiing the Boundary-Chutes on my new Scott P4s. They are sweet!

This is a frame taken from our video. I thought it was a cool photo showing the summit in the background.

FG side stepping the traverse under C-rock!

Once again scoping out lines to rip my next run!

The storm system burying the Wasatch Mtns has blessed Summit County with over 38" of fresh snow from Dec 6-9! Sorry, not too many photos to capture the event... I'm sure you understand as who the hell wants to stop and take photographs when it's this damn good!!!

A grin like this from RSR tells it all

I clicked into my Mojo's and headed down the frontside. After carving up the mountain for about 30 turns I ended up on top of a small cliff band

In this situation there's only one way out, that's cliffed out

"EPIC" Snow has arrived in the Wasatch! 40"-45" of snow blanketed the Cottonwoods.

The Wasatch started snowing Thursday afternoon and did not stop till Sunday morning! Three and a half feet of white fluff was the final storm total! Skiing was unreal with snow over the head all weekend! Props to Solitude Ski Patrol for their great work opening up all the terrain! As for us, we were the first ones on three seperate runs with fresh lines the whole way down! Every run was fresh tracks for three days straight. As a total, I skied around 50,000 feet vertical of Fresh POW! Did I say UNREAL!!!!!!!!!!

FG added little artwork today at the bottom of Sunrise chair.
Blizzarding at Trax station
FG waiting for UTA to arrive at Moonbeam Base.
Frankie chillin with the FOGS
FG chokin on snow with many face shots thru the day
Photo from Apex thru my eyes. All day it dumped!
SG getting repetitive face shots all day instead of being at work
Just another run at the 'tude for me

Dec 4, 07 Solitude

Broke my BD 01 binding today. Tele-skiing switch, leaned too far forward and ripped the binding out of the ski and bent the shit out of the toepiece. As I got up the binding was still attached to my boot! P.O.S.

In the first photo below Frankie wiped so hard skiing switch that he knocked his goggles and hat off!
Photo #2 You gotta love the guy skiing with no hat and no poles. It's the new steezey way! with SG in the background.

Solitude Nov 30

Alta Oct 21, 2007

If you were there you know how awesome it was. Bottomless and felt like mid-season pow! 3 runs down the shoulder is all I needed to set the grin on my face!

Solitude 10-20-07

Skinned up Solitude and skied Sunshine Bowl. Not nearly as good as I had expected. Crusted over and little cover compared to Little Cottonwood Canyon.

Alta Oct 17, 2007 Pukin'

Skinned up Alta. Skied Rock n Roll with 16" of freshies. Then I met up with FTO and skinned up and skied Extrovert!
