From one side of the world to the other
Soligully spends a full week in the Wasatch before he hits the other side of the globe in Vietnam for 3 weeks
Soligully and I hit the Wasatch full force this week. This week brought variable conditions from bluebird, blizzard, wind blown to bitter cold temps. Everyday we showed up with battle gear and a permanent grin that was frozen on our faces. Due to cold temps we were unable to take much video. With a night up at Solitude Inn, Blue Star Cafe, Cotton Bottom Inn, Millcreek Cafe, Molca Salsa, Lonestar Taqueria, fish taco dinner party, Argenta Pub, Wing Coop, Silver Fork, a X-mas party and some sushi is how we spent our week accompanied by many chairlift rides. No touring due to high avy danger. Oh yeah a finale at The Windows on the Wasatch aka IHC for lunch.

Mexico
Took a trip to Cabo San Lucas with the little lady. Amazing! Great people, tasty Margaritas, and some fun surf. Traveled up the pacific coast to Tados Santos, checked out Cerritos (a famous surf break), and drank some of the best Tequila I ever had.
Although it was hard to leave the resort at times, we were able to explore a lot of the area. Meet some amazing people, saw a lot of cactus, lost my wallet (and ended up having dinner with a local family that found it and invited us over).
Pictures: 'the tunnel o love'(the tunnel leading to "Old Mans" surf spot), endless reeling chest high rights, seals lounging out, and my first 130lb marlin (took me 45minutes to reel it in).
I was able to grab a few cold water NY waves with Mike C before I left for Mexico. Fun day with a few surprising bombs rolling through. Mike is on the body board...the last picture is me sacrificing my lungs for a last minute photo (I got crushed about a second after I snapped the pic – Mmmmm, watery lungs).

And I thought my legs were good to go!
An interesting canyon drive and a full day of riding with friends on a stormy winter day set me back a few as I realized that I am not as in good shape as I thought. Day #18 and the legs be burnin'. Nothing a few pints at Argenta can't heal.
The skis had so much fun in the snow they asked for more on the way down the canyon
UDOT cleared the roads well so the ride down was slow but safe.

Jones Pass, CO
A new adventure today with Snoworries. We decided to check out what Jones Pass was all about. Turned out to be a lot of work, and we didn't even summit. Snowmobiles are allowed on the pass and we sure wish we had one. Here are some pic's on the way up:
All in all, it was good exercise...
Jones Pass will definitely be visited again, with more knowledge from locals on the skin track locations of course.

Ohh yea, Romo boy had some sick face shots all day at Berthoud yesterday, here's a nice clip:
