This weekend had it's ups and downs, its flakes and raindrops, its laughs and...slaps...? Overall, a very memorable weekend, for all sorts of reasons. It began with confusion as to the travel plans of Solligully, Snotscicle, Liv2Ride, Snoworries and the "Bos." Once that was all figured out - meatmarket (including Romney) in Snoworries' whip - the drinking commenced!
We come from different walks of life from various places around the world and share a passion for the outdoors by climbing the highest peaks, riding ocean waves or anything in between. Wherever you are, never forget where you come from!

Backcountry in Vermont
Sunday funday in the woods and trails of Killington, Vermont. We hiked for nearly an hour right on pace for 1'000 vertical feet. We shredded the untouched trail in the South Ridge area and then Liv2Ride and myself decided to boot up for another run.

Livin w/ "The Beast"
The Beast can give it and The Beast can take it. We saw it all over the weekend of 12/12-12/13. Cold Temps, Perfect Groomers, Freshies, SUN and "F-in RAIN". Thanks and No Thanks. But, in the End, we always love "The Beast"......

A quote for snowriders all over
"We are not trying to race down the hill to see who can go the fastest.
We are trying to make the most of the terrain.
There are so many approaches to the same line and how you decide to express yourself on a slope reflects your style and personality"

Bowling pins all over!
Danger! Beater panic at K-town this weekend. With only a few trails open and only ONE run that funnels to the base, riding was suicidal. The snow conditions were great with man made snow and an extra 4" on top thanks to mother nature. Can't wait for more terrain to open
try and find Soligully "Papa Muntz" style through the chaos

Fishing - Montauk Point
Siiiiick! Between my buddy Sal and I, we caught about 30 big strippers and two blue fish. Biggest blue fish I ever caught! We kept one Stripped Bass (the limit was 28", we were catching on average from 22"-26") The ocean was good to us and the weather was great. Couldn't of asked for a better day in the middle of November. The morning was bit snotty with some 8' swells still rolling through from the storm, but once the fish started biting...everything else gets goooood! We were beat by the end of the day, especially the dog...
My parents ate one filet off the stripped bass last night and it was delicious! I froze my half until I get off midnights - Mmm Mmm good.
Grace’s first trip fishing in the ocean! She’s a fishin’ dog…loved every second of it, even when the waves broke over the bow.

Please, please Let it snow soooooon!
First day of chairs for Soligully and Snotsicle!
It all starts at 2:30 PM. Soligully walks through the mud to the gondola
I get the phone call that they are not checking passes so I geared up and skied for $free.99. Here I am arriving at Killington Peak

Sunday morning we did some exploring around the Northbrook area scoping ways for me to poach K-town. 60 degrees and as you can see Killington has "plenty" of snow.

After all the trip was fun and the snow texture felt like spring skiing. Let it snow almighty ULLR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
First Tracks of the Season 11.14
The above photo is looking towards the Berthoud Pass parking lot from the west side, vantage p0int is from close to Pumphouse basin... but before we get into that.
A few hours earlier, on the way up to Berthoud, didn't see much snow, not much of anyone - except for this lonely guy; look closely or you might miss him:
On the up track things started to look much better:
Looking at No Name Cirque (looking from left to right, peak-saddle):
Ended up skiing No Name bench into the trees, not worth the effort due to limited gain... but fun!
