Undisclosed areas today

This is the pillow line in BCC. Undisclosed where abouts

Liz dropping the pillows

There is always a challenge involved when you ski a line in spring. This is me crossing back over Big Cottonwood creek

Earlier in the day I hiked into the cave in Honeycomb. Another undisclosed area. C-ROCK

Soligully brings the snow to the Wasatch

He came to the Wasatch and it dumped 26 inches.  We started off skiing at Deer Valley on day numero 1 and hit Solitude for the remainder.  On Sunday we traversed out the highway gate and did a quick tour into Silver Fork where we practiced and honed in our avi skills.  After we tested a slope and triggered a wind slab we proceeded to ski the chute.  Also my longest cont' vert run of the year from Shot 23 left down to Woodlawn had me trembling with excitement after skied and looking up at my tracks.
A few new food choices, a night up at the Inn, plenty of Pow and a new resort to add to the list it turned out to be an awesome quick visit.

Thanks for the great time and visit bro!

St. Ciox 09 - Sailing Trip

Took a trip to St. Croix. Sailed for two weeks around the carribean on Cole's boat. Amazing time that I'll never forget. Had great weather, ran into one storm (scariest night of my life), visted a couple island and lived off what the sea had to offer ... and rum. Finished 8 big bottles of rum in 7 days, I can now drink like a sailer. More stories to come...

USA Bowl on Cinco di Marzo

This here is my new way of making turns.  Craig Gordon would be proud!

I think it is impossible for me to make the turns that these guys did on the looker's right.  I like our style better!  we know how to take up the whole run with only 3 skiiers.  Then again I set the skintrack on the right the whole way.

A quick experimental video of early March.  All video is filmed with a point and shoot.

Wet activity

Warm temperatures allowed this natural wet slide to brake and carry everything in its path.  This pic was taken yeasterday on the South side of Timpanogos on the way up towards Robert's Horn.

Seagull Chute

Yes!

S4+.... Slopes just under 45° that are continuously steep, have serious fall consequences and multiple terrain obstacles.

An eventful Thursday at SMR.

An early start up the canyon. Brown Bear and I had intentions of ripping big lines and get some quality video. So it started off normal with a warm up run in the cirque. Our friend Vince from rental tagged along and was dropping cliffs anywhere he saw one. I came across one of my fav pillow drops and let him go for it. He dropped and sec's later he tore something in his knee. Ski Patrol rescue with a belayed toboggan ride down Vince went. Later on after a Bomb's Away and Double Barrels run we decided to head to Little Fin. Well I bailed out cause my ankle still hurts and came across an indivdual stuck in cliffband. Another rope came out and this person had to be rescued by patrol with a harness. Just another day at Solitude.

Once again LCC closed and people decided to ski Solitude

Awesome Wasatch powder day. Lots of cliffs from 5-20 footers. Pillow lines and demanding terrain and good people at Solitude.
And yeah next time please keep your "Alta"-tude away from our Solitude

Solo on PH

Myself and Brigdonkey shared a PBR on PH to start the day off right! 9:30AM

Steph and Foxkat celebrating good snow while Will and Dana discuss their next run one chair back!

After a slope cut under the "Ghoul" I was able to trigger a soft slab avalanche. The photo below shows the crown of 6-12" deep, appx 40 feet wide and ran about 150 feet. Earlier in the day i was caught in my own soft snow slide in Milk Run where it knocked me to my feet and carried me appx 15-20 feet. ~~~~~inbounds and beeping~~~~~
