Berthoud Pass

With the temperatures hovering just above freezing and not a cloud in the sky, Colorado was the place to ski today. BP offers some of the most diverse terrain around for backcountry access. Chutes, bowls, steeps, hucks (up to 80') and groomers. Ohh wait, sorry Ullr, no freshly groomed trails here, stick to Breck.

Here's a picture of the Current Creek Cirque (will attempt to drop in later this week). Avi conditions are finally down to moderate for most of CO:

  2. Be very careful on the uptrack. Make sure you don't punch any rocks on top of the cirque!
