After reading the reviews of the Konflict and BB's I decided to steer from Full Tilt and go with BD. Now a slighter tougher choice, Factor or Method? After much debate (and the fact that REI didn't stock the Factor, only online) I decided the Method was the answer.... Plus they're toned down and not nearly as flashy as the Factor's. I'm hoping this was a good decision. My instinct was to go for the stiffer flex (Factor rated at 130 vs 110 of the Method) but in talking with the rep the choice was made.
These will definitely be better than the slippers I was rocking last year. So here are the new Methods (no pun intended... maybe) to keep my feet attached to my skis:
With a price tag of 1.5M I'm sticking to my motto: Save now Spend in Winter
14 days until opening day. Although it is still quite warm here... so not sure if that's gonna hold. Opening day was already pushed back until 10/10...
Ciao
i think my bro is going to get a pair of bd boots also. it seems to be the only logical choice this year for a chairlift/sidecountry AT setup.
ReplyDeleteFor sure. They are pretty damn comfortable plus I can foresee the uptrack being much easier when put into walk mode. The BOA system is a big plus for keeping a snug fit, just a quick turn at lunch and you're good to go. They did an awesome job with these.
