Just a reminder to everyone to be safe this winter. Already three avalanches in the state of Colorado this month:

Always be aware of the conditions and terrain around you, Snotsicle, ha, let's do some early training this year on your way out west. I know you've had some backyard fun already, but snow makes it better!
hopefully all of Killington doesn't rip out on me pre-Utah season. I may take level 2 avi again for a refresher this season. It really made me understand snowpack and how to manage it.

UNBELIEVABLE.... The last few seasons have opened my eyes to the dangers of the backcountry. The problem is, the BC is soooo rewarding, that in reality we will spend the rest of our lives behind the ropes. My brother saved me last season with a slope cut, that ripped out on us. And the truth is, I would have skied the run without caution. The result would not of been fatal, BUT? You know the rest. With GREAT respect, comes great ski descents. Lets all live to 90, to tell our famous ski stories. Snowpack is a way of life for some of us. I am lucky to have my brother to guide me thru the Wasatch. We all need beacons, shovels and probes. No more F-ing around. This year looks to be EPIC and ULLR has already started his power. Can't wait for FACE SHOTS. My first chairlift ride should be on Nov.14. And yes, I will be on VOLKL EXPLOSIVES. Gotta shock the legs. Be smart everyone, we want our passion to live forever, and the snow/mountains gives us that.
